Two-Factor Authentication and Secure Team Room
With the "Two-Factor Authentication" Cloud App your account and your most important files can be protected more reliably from unauthorized access.
In addition to the usual login (with e-mail address and password or OpenID), a mobile PIN is sent to you via SMS, which has to be verified for a successful login.
This function is available in the edition "Fabasoft Folio Cloud leggero".
Procedure
- Activate Cloud App "Two-Factor Authentication with Mobile PIN"
- Login with Mobile PIN
To activate this Cloud App, click the "Account" portal page. Select the "Cloud Apps" entry and click the switcher next to "Two-Factor Authentication with Mobile PIN".
Enter your mobile phone number and click "Next".
You receive an SMS with the mobile PIN. Enter this mobile PIN and click "Next".
Click "Logout" to logout from Fabasoft Folio Cloud and login again using two-factor authentication.
On the login site enter your e-mail address or OpenID and your password as usual. To use the two-factor authentication, select "Login with Mobile PIN" and click "Send PIN".
Enter the mobile PIN that you received via SMS and click "Login".
The used authentication method is displayed under your name. Change mobile phone number To change your mobile phone number, you have to be logged in with two-factor authentication.
Your mobile phone number can be changed on the "Account" portal page under "Login and Password". Enter the new mobile phone number and click "Change Mobile Phone Number". A PIN is sent to the new number. Enter this PIN, to verify the new mobile phone number.
Secure Team Room
A team room can be marked as a "Secure Team Room". Accessing the files of the team room is only possible for contacts who are logged in with two-factor authentication.
To mark a Team Room as secure, first make sure you are logged in with two-factor authentication.
On the context menu of the appropriate team room, click "Properties".
In the Security Level field select "Two-Factor Authentication" and click "Next".
