The data is uploaded into the cloud by the data owners themselves and the data receiver can simply access the data from the Cloud, without needing to access the infrastructure of the data owner. The Cloud can therefore be seen as an environment of mutual trust for the transfer of electronic data between business partners. All you need is an https connection that is also used for other online services.
Fulfills Compliance Requirements
While traceability and transperancy are not a given with an FTP data transfer, Folio Cloud meticulously records every file transfer through its Fabasoft Folio Auditing. It therefore remains traceable and transparent – what data was sent by who, when and to whom. The transferred data is stored and archived, unchangeable, with retention periods attributable to ensure that Compliance Policy requirements are sustainably fulfilled.
