Fabasoft Folio Cloud settings
General
To adjust personal data such as contact data, password and the appearance of Fabasoft Folio Cloud please use the "Account"-button on the top right of your browser window. In the left side pane you will find three settings areas, divided into their respective sub areas, which are explained subsequent:
Personal Data
Login and Passwort
- E-Mail-Address: Here you can change the e-mail-address that you use to login to Fabasoft Folio Cloud
- Passwort: To change your password enter the current password, followed by your new password and the confirmation of your new password
- OpenID: If you own an OpenID enter it here. To obtain an OpenID please visit MyOpenID
- Mobile PIN/Motoky: Enter your mobile phone number to use the Mobile PIN. iPhone users can use the Motoky-App to pair up with Fabasoft Folio Cloud.
My Personal Data
Enter your personal data here. The tab "Address" provides additional space for e-mail-addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses.
My Purchases
Your purchases from the Fabasoft Folio Cloud shop are displayed in this list.
Settings
Basic Settings
- Language : In this field the language of the user environment is defined.
- Locale: This field defines, which locale is used. Your selected locale determines how property values are presented (e.g. date format, decimal separator). If no locale is chosen, the settings of your browser are taken.
- Font Size: In this field the font size can be defined. By default the font is displayed small.
- Type of Usage : In this field you can select the type of usage.
- Read Only: This type provides only readable access to collaboration folders and objects. It is not possible to create or edit objects or to manage contacts. The toolbar and the menu bar are not displayed.
- Edit: This type of usage provides all functionalities of Fabasoft Folio Cloud. Furthermore you can use Scrum for working on projects.
- Read Properties by Default : This field defines whether the properties of an object are displayed in read-only or edit mode (e.g. via the menu command "Properties").
- Open Documents Read-Only by Default : This field defines whether an object is opened in read or edit mode, when opening it via a double click.
- Display Short Tips : This field defines whether only short tips are displayed in the task pane, or a long description is displayed. The longer description is especially useful for new users.
- Show Button Bar in Simple Mode: This field determines, if a menu or a button bar or both should be shown within a Folder or Teamroom.
- Show Welcome Screen: This field defines whether the "Welcome Screen" is displayed or not.
- Show Confirmation on Exit This field defines whether the user should be prompted for confirmation, when the client is closed.
News
- Show News Feed at Login: This field defines wether news are shown at login or not.
- Schedule E-Mail Notification for: In this field the date and the time of the next e-mail notification is defined. The notification is sent to your specified e-mail address. -E-Mail Notification Interval: In this field the notification interval can be selected. This interval is based on the date and the time of the schedule e-mail notification.
- Maximum Age of News (in Days) : In this field the maximum age of your news is defined. Is the age of news three days, the information of the last three days will be displayed.
- Notify me About News of These Team Rooms: You will get notified about news of all team rooms located in this list. New and accepted team room will be automatically added to the list. The order of the displayed news depends on the order of the team rooms in this list.
Cloud Apps
In this list you can find all available Cloud Apps. Enable or disable Cloud Apps by pressing the button to the right.
State
Web Browser State
This menu provides information if your web browser is optimal set up for use with Fabasoft Folio Cloud.
Account Activity
The history of your access to Fabasoft Folio Cloud.
