Access to documents with a BlackBerry smartphone

You can use your BlackBerry with the third-party product PaderSyncDAV to access documents in Fabasoft Folio Cloud via WebDAV. This article describes how to install and configure PaderSyncDav and how to synchronize your documents.

To install and configure PaderSyncDAV for Fabasoft Folio Cloud, perform following steps:

1. Open the URL http://www.pader-sync.com with a web browser on your BlackBerry smartphone and click the “Downloads” tab.




2. Click “Download PaderSyncDav”.




3. Click “Download here”.




4. Click on the download link appropriate to your BlackBerry OS version. The installation process will start automatically.




5. After the application was successfully installed click “Run”.




6. Click “Bookmarks”.




7. Press the BlackBerry key and click "New".




8. Click “WebDAV”.




9. Enter following connection data:
   Title: Folio Cloud
   Host: folio.fabasoft.com/folio/webdav
   User: <e-mail address of your Fabasoft Folio Cloud account>
   Pass: <your password>
   SSL/TLS: Yes
   Compression: No




10. Click “Ok”.




11. Select the previously created entry “Folio Cloud”.




12. Click “Yes”.




13. Click “Ok”.




14. Your folders and files are displayed. Select a file or a folder.




15. Press the BlackBerry key and click “Open” to open a file.

To configure PaderSyncDav for synchronization, perform the following steps:

1. Start PaderSyncDav and click “Sync".




2. Press the BlackBerry key and click “New”.




3. Enter a Name (e.g. "Folio Cloud Sync"), choose an existing connection to Fabasoft Folio Cloud as Source (e.g. Folio Cloud) and choose a Target for your files (e.g. "Memory Card").




4. Press the BlackBerry key and click "Save".




5. Click “Ok”.
   




6. Press the BlackBerry key and click "Back".




7. Click the previously created entry “Folio Cloud Sync”.




8. Click “Start” to synchronize the files.




9. Click “Ok”. The files are now also available on your BlackBerry smartphone.
