SPAR wins Pentadoc ECM Award 2012 with Fabasoft
A great success for SPAR Business Services GmbH and Fabasoft: In front of 150 guests Mag. Manfred Knoblechner, Dr. Thomas Thalhammer (SPAR) and Michael Hadrian (Fabasoft) accepted the ECM Award 2012 in the category “Innovative Implementation”.
Every year at the ECM Awards the category "innovative implementation" honors the best ECM customer projects. With the successful implementation of Fabasoft Folio as the new, company-wide document management system at the SPAR Austria Group, SPAR and its implementation partner Fabasoft were able to come out on top of all the other submitted projects. Needless to say, both parties were suitably pleased to have won such a coveted prize.
This smoothly continues Fabasoft's success last year: In 2011 Folio Cloud was crowned winner in the category "ECM Solution of the Year". The state Vorarlberg was also victorious with its implementation partner CSC on the basis of Fabasoft eGov-Suite in the category "Innovative Implementation".
Winner at IT Innovation Prize 2012!
Fabasoft Folio Cloud was crowned winner at the "INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT 2012" in the category "DMS / Data Management System" with the mobile solution "Folio Cloud: Management Head-start in the Cloud". Folio Cloud was selected from over 2,500 submissions for the first prize by a renowned independent jury.
The focus of the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT is to acknowledge products and services that provide a particulraly high benefit and functionality for small and medium sized companies. The awaqrd ceremony was conducted as part of the CeBIT in front of 300 spectators at the IBM main booth.
Finalist at the IT Europa European Software Excellency Award 2012
Fabasoft is a nominee at the IT Europa European Software Excellency Award 2012. We are proud to announce that we have made it into the finals in two categories:
- Application Development Platform
- Enterprise Allication: Supply Chain Management - together with our channel partner SSC-Services
The IT Europa European Software Excellence Awards 2012, which recognise best practices in customer solutions by ISVs across Europe, will celebrate its finalists and winners at a Gala Awards Dinner at the Grand Hyatt, Berlin on 1st March 2012.
These are the only pan European software awards that recognise real world solutions as well as channel partnerships. The awards were split into two sections. The first set of awards, exclusively for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), highlight the applications that they have developed and delivered for their customers. The second set of awards, for suppliers, highlight those vendors, distributors and service providers who best support their channel partners to deliver excellence.

Second Place at the Computerwoche "Best in Cloud 2011" Award
Folio Cloud was awarded second place in the category "Platform as a Service" at the „Best in Cloud 2011“ awards hosted by the German specialist IT publication Computerwoche. The expert jury were impressed with the individually modelable business processes, extensibility through business applications (Cloud Apps), the implementation of compliance requirements and certified end-to-end security. A particular highlight: the new German ID card as personal Cloud admission pass for the guaranteed personal identity in the Cloud.
Fabasoft was able to assert itself against other Cloud providers such as IBM Deutschland, Lufthansa Systems AG and T-System International GmbH.

Folio Cloud is winner of the Pentadoc ECM Award 2011
Folio Cloud is the winner of the Pentadoc ECM Award 2011 in the categorie „ECM solution of the year“. The ECM Award is an initiative from Pentadoc with support from the IT publication Computerwelt. The award was presented as part of the ECM Day 2011 on May 17, by a jury of recognized independent experts from industry and academia.
"We are proud that our Folio Cloud has won the ECM Award. With this ECM solution we want to support many companies as best as possible with their daily business. The development of Folio Cloud integrated the latest, user friendly technology," empjasized Andreas Dangl, Managing Director at Fabasoft Distribution GmbH. "The ECM Day offers a unique opportunity once a year for us to network and exchange ideas with interested user companies and other ECM solution providers."
