Cooperation between the Austrian Federal Chancellery, A-Trust and Fabasoft
The partnership between the Austrian Federal Chancellery ("Digital Austria" platform), A-Trust, the first accredited provider on qualified certificates in Austria, and Fabasoft represents a significant milestone for secure Cloud computing. The Federal Chancellery's aim is to enable meaningful applications for everyday business that are currently used in the eGov sector. Using the Citizen Card on mobile (mobile signature) as standardized "Digital ID", the easy, secure and authenticated use of Cloud services can be realized.

Activating and Pairing
Cloud access with „digital ID“ in Austria requires the enabling of the Austrian citizen card with mobile signature (more information at https://www.handy-signatur.at and http://www.buergerkarte.at). Activation then takes place in the account settings of a Folio Cloud allegro user. A linking follows between the Folio Cloud account and the citizen card with mobile signature (pairing).
The Cloud login requires the entry of the signature password for the registered mobile phone number. A signature TAN is then sent to the registered mobile phone number via the citizen card security infrastructure. Only once the signature TAN is entered is access to the Cloud opened (two factor authentication).
