Fabasoft Folio Cloud for structured collaboration: New „medio“ edition with workflow for the Cloud

Fabasoft is now making clear and visually depicted workflows possible in the Cloud, enabling clarity for business processes both internal within a company and external across different organizations.

Professional collaboration in the Cloud is therefore even more efficient, flexible and dynamic. Folio Cloud is the European Cloud for business-to-business collaboration, where organizations can connect with each other via team rooms. The service enables secure collaboration and exchange of documents via a Cloud portal.

A Team Room is a protected area to which only authenticated users who have been explicitly invited and granted rights have access. The highest level of security and reliability is guaranteed by certifications. Fabasoft is ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified and SAS 70 Type II audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Folio Cloud recently added the ISO 20000 certificate for IT services.

Folio Cloud “medio” – Ad-hoc workflow and structured business processes

With the new workflow feature of Folio Cloud „medio“ business processes can be shaped quickly, flexibly and easily in the Cloud. Approval processes for documents, for example, can be modeled via the standard prescribed activities “execute”, “approve” and “for notification”. An activity prescribed by the person responsible for the process can be adapted to the relevant situation. Structured processes are modeled in specialist Cloud Apps. These can be implemented on an organization basis or via the Cloud App Store (www.cloudappstore.com).
